This dishwasher safe grill expander is made of 304 stainless steel for quality that lasts, and the cupped feet secure it to the cooking grate for safe grilling. This is a great tool for cooking delicate food since it elevates the food away from the heat source, preventing overcooking and charring. You can also grill several pieces of beef at one time, rotating the well done meat to the upper grate while rarer meats continue to cook on the lower grate. This handy grill expander can be used with the Kamado Joe heat deflector for even more smoking or roasting space.
